Intermediate/Advanced Beginner Mah Jongg In-Person
Do you have a basic knowledge of Mah Jongg and would like to learn more? If you are familiar with the card and have taken the introductory class or have recently learned the game, this class is for you! In just four sessions, you can further hone your skills of passing tiles, picking the right hand, strategizing, and playing defensively. Please bring your tiles (if you have) and a 2024 card to the class.
IMPORTANT: Please purchase ASAP a National Mah Jongg League 2024 card which can be ordered at www.nationalmahjonggleague.org. You will need to have this with you during all classes. Please order your card as early as possible as it will take several weeks to receive it.
This is an in-person program taking place at Hicksville Library. Registration for HPL cardholders will begin one month before the program date.
Registration for out-of-district cardholders will begin 1 week before the program date.
