Something Special Big Band In-Person
Join us for this fantastic performance from Something Special Big Band, one of the finest nostalgia/jazz swing bands in the New York-Tristate area! Something Special is an 18-piece band with five saxophones, four trombones, four trumpets, and a full rhythm section. All the members of the band are professional musicians and most have performed with great swing bands such as Buddy Rich, Lionel Hampton, and Count Basie. The band plays a variety of music from nostalgia to contemporary swing, but is best known for its exciting Basie style.
All ages welcome! First come, first served. No registration required. This event is co-sponsored with the Town of Oyster Bay Cultural and Performing Arts Division as part of 2024-2025 Distinguished Artists Concert Series.
