Listening to Long Island History

Listening to Long Island History In-Person

Ever curious about how Long Island history gets made? Academic librarian Chris Kretz has been asking that question for over 10 years on the podcast the Long Island History Project. In this talk, he'll share what he's learned from the passionate people exploring everything from Plum Island to the Hempstead Plains. You'll hear what it takes to uncover the past and the odd places you may have to dig. Along the way you'll get a glimpse at the making of a local independent podcast.
