Mind Over Math In-Person
For Children going into Grades 4 & 5 this Fall
Mind over Math is a group of passionate high school student volunteers who wish to make math engaging, applicable, and accessible to children. Their sessions are designed to include hands on puzzles and in depth lessons that connect to the real world. Through this program at the Hicksville Public Library, they aim to foster curiosity in 4th and 5th graders by teaching math beyond what is learned in school classrooms.
