Job Search for Older Workers In-Person
If you're over the age of 40 and looking for employment, feel free to come join instructor Philip Fea, a highly accomplished Human Resources professional, in a frank discussion about the myths and stereotypes associated with older workers and learn sound strategies to proactively overcome them and level the playing field between you and the younger competition. In this workshop, participants will learn what to include and exclude from their resume and self-introduction to focus prospective employers on their accomplishments and the advantages of hiring an older worker. Participants will also learn what it takes to fashion their image as an energetic, skilled and contemporary employment candidate.
